StrengthStrength is not something you can measure,
True strength is a real treasure.
It isn't how much weight you can lift,
True strength is what you call a gift.

Strength is not about how much you can destroy,
It's about how you can make people feel joy.
It's about how much you can take,
And trust me what I'm telling you isn't fake.

If we wouldn't have the ability to endure,
We would be knocked out before we could act for sure.
Strength is the ability to handle the stuff life throws at you,
Trust me everybody will at one time feel quite blue.

People are sometimes weak and vulnerable,
We are just humans, we will never be invulnerable.

Untouched BooksDirty fingerprints crust the pages
Of the books of forgotten lore
That have laid here before all ages
Untouched from before-

Unconcerned with reason or rhyme,
Longing for those finger-shaped prints,
They have waited all this time,
To be imprinted with darkened tints

But all that meets them is the chilly air,
And the quiet whispers of phantoms past;
And still they wait with silent flair,
To be marked with fingers again at last

SkeletonsEvery year there is a night when all hell's minions rise,
The air is filled with monstrous shrieks and evil fills the skies.
Unshackeled from the bonds of death, once more in life remade,
They like to celebrate their deaths, and ply their evil trade.

A band strikes up to start the show; a noise so filled with dread,
A menacing cacophony; enough to wake the dead.
With zombies on percussion and banshees playing strings,
Wraiths make a racket blowing horns and vampires start to sing.

Now comes a haunting melody, as a reaper croons alone,
Of hungering fangs and sucking blood, and ripping flesh from bone.

Disaster struck upon the Earth
Chaos spread like a wildfire
And the humanity split
Turning on one another

Soon nothing was left but the bare dust of the burned
The virus spread and killed everyone
And in time the dead came back to life
Hunting the living and punishing them for their sins

The Armageddon came and we couldn't escape
The world fell in to the dust of destruction
With each day the living decay as the dead arise
With each moment the remains of humanity fade

The sun blazes over the dying lands
The dry rivers and burned fields
Only the road keeps on going forever
Only the road keeps us alive

Memories of the PastMemories of the Past

Do you remember the blue summer sky?
Free of clouds and full of dreams
Our lives were so wonderful
All day long together with friends free of all worries

Do you remember the bikes that we used to ride?
I remember riding till the very end of the sunlight
All those times we fall and then got back up again
I remember all of it all the fun that was to be together

Do you remember the nights?
Nights full of games of hide and seek
And the fireflies were the only thing that shined in the dark
Also the sound of the crickets that echoes till the dawn

I remember all of that with sorrow in my heart
The way we were yo

Through a gap in the fenceThrough a gap in the fence
they saw each other.

Drawings on the walls
for messages of love.

Images don't matter anymore
as words are the only thing
that can travel
through that gap in the fence.

Whispers of love
and no one else cares.

Still they have not seen each other
through the small gap in the fence,

But of course
all good things must end.

The gap was closed
and their love was lost.

As time erases
their love was lost
and the lovers who met
through a gap in the fence
never got to whisper
their sweet nothings to each other
through a gap in the fence again.

There's a vortex after death that leads to an underground cave

In which many of the souls He locked away could not be "saved"

And now they wander lost among the damned that dwell

Endlessly forever searching for the Gates Of Hell

Past the vultures that feasted on the broken bones

My wretched home was not that much different from those alone

The weapons of murder utilized can be checked at the door

Chances are if they are here they have used them once before

The gore that they spread to assassinate their foes

Led others to salvation and decimated woes

But now they are here to rejoice with the damned that dwell

I'm afraidI'm afraid

I'm afraid of failure,
Of disappointing,
Seeing those ashamed looks on their faces,
Because I know I'm not good enough,
I'm afraid, very afraid,

I'm afraid of speaking my mind,
For I know that others will ruthlessly speak theirs,
And I know their words are going to hurt me,
But I won't have the heart to hurt them back,
I'm afraid, very afraid,

I'm afraid of the future,
Because I don't know where I shall be,
Or what I shall do,
I'm still trying to piece my puzzle together,
I'm afraid, very afraid,

I'm afraid of success,
For with this comes jealousy,
And with jealousy comes lust for hurt,
Nothing good can possibly

The HumThe city hums as toxic smoke
Coils in the air like a snake,
Grasping at the sky pulsating
Grayish color in its wake.

Tall buildings suffocating
Uniformed workers in search for
The nearest subway train,
Emotion stuffed amidst bodies rushing.

Beady eyes scan surrounding terrain,
Sweat rolls down open pores,
Warm breath stains cool air
As bodies litter the sidewalk stains.

Sly glances shared reveal the wear
The metal tombs have exacted
On the soul of the unwilling,
How will they offer any care?

Metal compresses against metal,
Love and hate are merged in one,
Dark smoke coils in the air
Blotting out the unseen city.

The Smile when you tore me apartHer hand goes over the poison and shields herself into the night.
The same smile is placed on her, laughter giving her away. She takes
her hands and creates a massacre, one only she knows. Corpses will
be her dolls. They rise only for her.

The young boy watches as flames engulf the body. He screams in horror,
desperately trying to save his playmate. She reaches out, but it was
already too late. The last thing he remembers was the tears that fall
from his eyes, and the heart that was broken into two.

His lover falls to the ground, blood splattering on her clothes.
Barely alive, she collapses onto his own arms. They grab her by the

DreamsYou are as young as you feel
Quite cliché, but it is quite real
Everybody wants to live their dream
Sometimes getting caught up in the stream

They flow down the river
Sometimes they slightly shiver
Fearing that they don't know where the river will end
Will it be a good or a bad end?

They spend their lives securing their lives
Sometimes not even living their lives
They want to keep what they got
Getting caught up in their own plot

Starting to regret the things we missed
Sometimes even making us a bit pissed
Asking ourselves each day: what if?
Sometimes we even slightly sniff

The future is about to unfold
We cannot turn ol

Serpent's Touch"Serpent's Touch"

Be aware of the ones

Who have the whitest teeth

Who have the sharpest tongues

And a callousness hidden beneath

They'll rip your heart out

And bury it beneath the floor

They'll encourage any self-doubt

Until you can not dream anymore

The difference in their eyes

Is masked by smiles so counterfeit

And no matter how hard one tries

They'll never admit to submit

They can easily lure you in

With promises so sincere

And once you've fallen for their grin

The face of Judas suddenly appears

We have all fallen for this act

Countless times before

Our vision becomes so abstract

We suck the nectar from their spores

HollowSo many questions that I don't know the answer to,

But I feel like it's better that I don't know the truth,

For they would probably eat at my head,

Hollow it out from end to end,

Take control of my mind,

If those answers I were to find,

Root themselves deep within my skull,

And grow until they were full,

Full of contempt and disgust,

Disgust that I gave you my trust,

While it still may enter my thoughts,

It's better than being controlled like a robot,

A simple sentence could free my mind,

Or cause it all to collapse and unwind,

But I guess that's the gamble that I'll take,

Because lately I've grown to hate,

Hate the things tha

Periwinkles and Black HolesPeriwinkles and black holes
Resting underneath suns as dark as coals
An arm signed by a razor
Caused by a heart covered in craters
A field of violet abyss
Swallowed by black amiss

Beautiful EyesThey speak to me, spilling your secrets, opening your soul.
There's nothing you can hide in your beautiful eyes,
As golden and magical as the morning sunrise.

They're a kaleidoscope of emotion.
Whispers of unwritten stories in each little fleck of green,
Murmuring tales of broken hearts, visits to the between.

The depth of your pain, your albatross
Spins in those eyes, plunging down, down, fathomless;
Yet, they sparkle at a distance, boundless, fearless.

I drown in those eyes, listening eagerly to the stories.
I am lost in your ageless soul...

I'm writing for the first time tonight;
When the love is strong,
And the stars are bright.

Writing for the future...
Writing for the past,
Just to see how long it shall last.

A whispering presence
Of company beholds,
Grasping the words and within they mold.

Leaking emotion
By the gentle strokes of the pen,
Portraying hurt, but no sin.

Darkness implodes,
Resting at Nightmare's Inn.
Waking up to everything, but still wondering why you've been, where you've been.

Silence prevails,
Fore love has grown,
The mystery ebbs away and the darkness is gone.

Yet passion is extravagant,
Bursting from the roots.
Life is so much sweeter, when you've found the golden loot.

So for the first time tonight
The writing came to me,
But it is all because of thee.

Thy may not write the swiftest words,
Or speak the chosen sentences.
As Influence has minor and master keys.

Confusion must unravel
To see the beauty within;
Of a poets words, Of a blind mans thoughts, together in a den.

Forever this may withhold,
But tiredness is sure to unfold,
Lending conclusions for writing this first time...

With the love strong,
And the stars bright...
That is when, I say, Goodnight.
